Held Time shifts the photograph from image to object.

Rather than existing as a framed surface, the image is compressed into physical form and removed from narrative sequence. Light is no longer descriptive; it is contained. What was once momentary becomes fixed, weighted, and resistant to duration.

The work does not depict motion or history. It suspends them. Time is treated as a physical presence—captured, layered, and sealed—inviting the viewer to encounter the image as matter rather than memory.
