CarScapes

CarScapes reinterprets the automobile as a landscape of engineered form—an arrangement of proportion, flow, and structural tension. Here, the car becomes sculptural terrain upon which illumination reveals design.

Using Painting With Light, I guide illumination in intentional strokes. As light moves, form becomes the place where its voice becomes visible, allowing structure, weight, and curvature to emerge with clarity. Each image is an exploration of how illumination resolves shape from within.

Reduction is essential. By removing environment, the viewer encounters the car as pure form—light, structure, and intention in dialogue.

This series reflects the throughline of my practice: I am not documenting objects—I am photographing light as it moves across structure.

CarScapes forms an early movement within my broader practice and grounds the philosophy I call The Illumination of Form.
